Piano Care and Tuning

Prior to use, the user will receive instruction on care and use of the Piano by the Event Manager.  If tuning of the Steinway is required, the user must contract with Mel Fletcher [783-9210] or his designee.

Note: The Grand Piano is included in the Performance Hall rental for weddings.

Historical Restoration Fee

This fee is assessed for all ticket-performances.  The fee is $1.00 for each ticket sold. 

For example, if the audience size is 250, the fee will be $250.00 in addition to all other fees.  Note, a fee will not be assessed on complimentary tickets.

 

 

The Restoration Fee or Service and Handling Fee [when applicable] shall be paid to The Center no later than 10 days following the event.

Historical Restoration Fee

  • The restoration and maintenance of a historic structure such as FAHC requires substantial sums of money.

  • While we are working aggressively towards this end of initial restoration, the ability to involve the community and arts patrons in this restoration of an asset such as FAHC is critical.

  • The funds paid toward the restoration fee do not cover the expenses associated with operating the center.  They are directed towards completing the initial restoration first, and then, once all capital work is completed [$4 million in addition to initial expenditures] those monies will be dedicated to a fund to maintain the structural and architectural integrity of the facility on a continuous basis.

  • These fees are becoming recognized as an "industry" best practice when the performing arts facility is a significant historical facility that must be restored and maintained at a certain level.

 

Additional Fees and Information

  • The rates for Heritage Hall is based on a 4-hour period of use. For each additional

            non-business hour, add $20.00 to the rental fee.

  • The Rental Fee will include one rehearsal without cost.
  • An energy surcharge of 10% of the rental fee will be assessed on events from Nov 1st to March 31St
